How to consign in five steps

Step 01

Send photos & a rough list

Start with an Auction Fit Review — a few phone photos and a short inventory. We review the property, location, amount, and timing, then discuss whether an auction may be a practical fit.

Phone snapshots are fine — we handle catalog photography later.

Step 02

Agree on terms — in writing

We walk through the consignment agreement together: commission, any reserves, timing, and what happens to unsold lots. Nothing moves until everything is signed.

Step 03

We build buyer-ready lots

Once the scope is agreed, we plan delivery, any arranged pickup, or work at your location. The agreed service can include lotting, photography, research, and descriptions.

Step 04

Your lots go live in the catalog

Accepted lots run in a timed online auction. Our Auctions page links each event to its catalog and bidding platform. An event-specific plan introduces the catalog to relevant prospective bidders; follow the linked catalog for live bidding and lot clocks.

Step 05

Settlement & payment

Settlement follows the written agreement and the buyer closeout. Your itemized statement records sale results, agreed fees and expenses, adjustments, and the amount due to you.
